Which boots should i get?
I am going to get my sister some new boots(horse boots that is) for christmas as her horse has out grown the ones we got him as a 2 year old. he had brushing boots since we were only lungeing and doing ground work. Now he is 3 1/2 years old and his legs have filled out so his other boots barely fit. As a riding horse he will be ridden trails, barrels, and some neighborhood flat races. what type of boots should i get that will protect his lower legs( sticks, thorns, burrs, and over overeaching) and are easy to clean. I mean like splint boots, brushing boots, polo wraps.......this excludes bell boots. also what brands are good brands? i have an unheard of brand full set that have done me good justice.
I really like Woof boots as an all purpose boot. There are a couple different types but the quality is excellent. They will last a long time, usually fit really well, don't slip, don't rub, and are pretty easy to clean and keep clean. Burrs and thorns will stick to them though but I am not aware of many othr types of boots burrs and thorns don't stick to. Good luck!
